Have you ever wondered what the future holds for your life? Have you ever questioned…
Are things going to get better or worse for me and my family? Could mistakes from my past keep me from succeeding in the future?
How will I ever get past this circumstance I’m going through now?
Is it possible that there are still better days ahead?
It’s natural to ask these questions and others just like them. But I want to share something with you that will give you great hope today…
In Christ, you have been promised a GLORIOUS FUTURE!
Because of the finished work of Jesus, you don’t have to be burdened by, or ashamed of, the mistakes of the past; neither do you have to be fearful of, or worried by, the challenges you presently face.
Jesus forgives every sin! Jesus overcomes every obstacle! Jesus promises a glorious future!
Proverbs 4:18 (NIV) says it this way: "The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day."
What a powerful promise!
Remember, you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (see 2 Corinthians 5:21). It’s not because of your own works that you are accepted and approved before the Father, but because of the finished work of Jesus. It’s not about what you do or don’t do…it’s about what Jesus has already done.
And because of His work in your life, your path forward isn’t going to grow darker and darker…
Your path forward is going to shine brighter and brighter.
Beloved, because you have been once and for all sanctified (or cleansed) through the blood of Jesus, you have been set apart.
Set apart from sickness unto health The list of God’s goodness and provision in your life goes on and on! Your past cannot derail your future because the blood of Jesus has cleansed you once and for all. You are forever accepted and approved before the Father.
There is no sin, no mistake, no stain that can keep you from your glorious future in Christ Jesus.
Beloved, because of you, the gospel of grace is being broadcast to millions all over the world, and we are able to reach out and love those in need in very practical ways. Thank you for standing with us to make all these possible.
As you go about the rest of your day, remember that you don’t have to fear that the months or years to come will be bleak. Jesus has provided everything you will ever need … including a glorious future!
